Discussing recent regional developments in an interview with the Iraqi network Al-Ahed, Takht-Ravanchi dismissed Israels threats against Iran as nothing new.
The Zionists know Irans strength well, he said.
If they act foolishly, they will pay a heavy price, Takht-Ravanchi declared.
He stressed Irans readiness to respond with appropriate political and military measures.
The Zionist regime must understand the consequences before making any misstep, he stated.
Discussing Syria, Takht-Ravanchi described the Arab country as a significant Muslim nation with which Iran has historically maintained good ties.
We closely monitor Syrias developments and hope for its security and stability, he said.
The diplomat stressed that all nations must refrain from interfering in Syrias internal affairs.
He added that respect for Syrias sovereignty and territorial unity is essential.
We honor the Syrian peoples choice in selecting their government through free and independent elections, Takht-Ravanchi stated.
He clarified that Irans prior presence in Syria was advisory, at the invitation of its government, to combat terrorism.
There is no division in Iran regarding Syrias situation, he affirmed.
Takht-Ravanchi reiterated Irans respect for the Syrian peoples decision on their new government, shaping future relations accordingly.
On Iran-Iraq ties, he highlighted the strong bond with Iraq as an independent neighbor.
We aim to broaden our relations with Iraq across all levels, he said.
Iran avoids meddling in Iraqs internal matters and engages with its groups within legal bounds, he noted.
The administration of (Iranian President)Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian prioritizes relations with neighboring states, Takht-Ravanchi emphasized.
He urged regional countries to collaborate for mutual benefit.
Addressing Irans stance on the US, he underscored adherence to the framework set by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
Both the Leader and our president stress the value of neighborly ties, he said.
Takht-Ravanchi recalled complex past talks with the US, noting Washingtons failure to honor commitments.
We are currently negotiating with European nations within defined frameworks to reach an agreement, he added.
On the nuclear issue, he firmly stated, Iran has no interest in nuclear weapons.
The country seeks only peaceful nuclear energy use, he clarified.
Iran, a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), follows the Leaders explicit ban on nuclear arms, he said.
Regarding Saudi Arabia, Takht-Ravanchi revealed plans to elevate bilateral ties to their highest level.
Iran and Saudi Arabia see significant regional opportunities for joint investment, he remarked.
He downplayed the Saudi ambassadors stay at Tehrans Espinas Hotel as a routine matter seen worldwide.
