New Delhi [India], February 21 (ANI): Ahead of 'Invest Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit' (GIS) 2025, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said there is a single-window system in the state to simplify the investment process in getting approvals and clearances.
He further highlighted that they are issuing all the permissions within 28 days. A single window system is a digital platform that helps businesses and investors apply for approvals and clearances.
Speaking to ANI, CM Yadav said, 'We have a single-window system. We are issuing all permissions within 28 days. You can see our track records of previous year. The MoU or any agreement signed with our investors during the Regional Industry Conclave, we are continuously performing bhoomi pujan and inauguration for the purpose. Concrete work will be done. Everyone wants to connect with Madhya Pradesh, be it within the country or outside.'
When asked about the preparation for the upcoming GIS, the Chief Minister emphasised that Regional Industry Conclave, pre-event as part of GIS, were continuously held in the state as a result of which there is a positive atmosphere and there is a rhythm which draws people's interest and attraction.
'For the last one year, barring the 3-3.5 months around Lok Sabha elections, we held Regional Industry Conclaves almost every month. Due to this, we have received immense benefit from the positive atmosphere that has been built. We have organised seven Regional Industry Conclaves prominent divisions which include Ujjain, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa, Narmadapuram, and Shahdol. Now, we are holding the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal. So, there is a rhythm which has drawn people's interest and attraction,' CM Yadav said.
Talking about the investment proposals, the CM added that they received investment proposals of over Rs 4 Lakh Crores in the regional industry conclaves and over 3 lakh employment opportunities to be generated from it.
'Now, a GIS will be held for which we contacted UK, Japan, Germany and several states in our country. More than 30,000 registrations have already been done (for GIS) and more than 18,000 people have given their confirmation. So, this is a positive sign,' he added.
The GIS will take place in the state capital Bhopal on February 24 and 25. The two-day program will be organized aiming to highlight the investment climate and industrial infrastructure of Madhya Pradesh, offering numerous opportunities for potential collaborations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal on February 24. Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah will attend the closing ceremony on the second day of the summit. (ANI)
